From the 5th Executive President
MESSAGE OF TRANSFORMATION Distinguished mates. It is with great pleasure that I wish you all a Happy New Year full of Happiness, Excitement, Fun, Successful and Healthy year ahead. I pray that the New Year will bring Peace, Love, Joy, and Good things. We give Almighty God the Glory. I wish to congratulate all of us for the success of the 30th Anniversary and I want to thank all the past Presidents, all the standing Committees mostly the Central Planning Committee headed by Alhaji (Amb) Sesan Odukoya GCSS and the immediate past Executive Council led by Alhaji (Amb) Hakeem Oshinaike GCSS. Also I want to appreciate the Electoral Commission of our great Association for working rigorously during electoral process. I want I appreciate all the members of this association for their maturity throughout the processes. During my inaugural speech, I stated that year 2025 it is going to be an Exciting year and I am looking forward to working with you all and renewing cooperation towards our Association. The Induction has been taken to our new Executive Council whereby every member of the council has gained from the induction where each member will allowed to perform their legal duty independently and their responsibilities towards the post they are handling. However, this administration has determined to improve our welfarism by putting in place Welfare Committee and sustaining Welfare Trust Funds established by the last administration to improve the wellbeing of our members. Moreover, certain amount have been set aside for the smooth running of the association, continuous payment of the Association Website, Public Relations Officer incentive, welfare visit, tourism subsidy are included in the 2025 budget. Furthermore, our yearly Reunion and Annual General Meeting has been stated to hold in the month of December 2025 and the Date will be announced at due course, Committee will be set up and will be headed by one of the past Presidents for hitch free reunion. This administration has determined to take our association to the Next Level, the Fifth Executive Council has approved the introduction of Bio-Metric Identification Card which will very useful both in the association and public uses, this identification card will replace Access card usage for every member. Also the Executive Council has approved the establishment of the Association owned TV channel which will brings class and global recognition to our association and machinery has been set in motion to work out the modality and mode of operandis. Also this administration has introduced the Scholarship scheme for the children of the members of this association and Committee will be set up to work out the modality for its operation. This administration has approved the celebration of the 10th Anniversary Reunion which will comes up in the 2026 and a project will be used to mark anniversary. In order to achieve all these, all hands must be on desk. Lastly, I wish to encourage every member to pay their annual due to enable this administration to function and delivering her dividends to the members and the Alma Mata.
